There are those times when just working in this business is its own reward.

Take the case of the rap group that was recording a disc at G-Quest Recording Studio, located in our area of the world. In the middle of their session, the 8-track DAT machine died, and held the tape hostage. One of the crew and the performer brought the DAT machine in for repair, and the rap star said: "I don't care what you do man, but don't lose my tape." 

Fortunately for us, and the group, we were able to extract the tape without damage and fix the DAT, which gained us the undying affection of the rap star who said: "I gotta give you a hug, brother."
